Once run in and speed had been increasing the mpg has started to tail off.

I suppose an overall mpg across the gamut of riding styles and conditions of just short of 55 isn't too bad.

After all Döra is a big girl carrying a big lad on her back.

You are getting the same MPG out of your 1200 as I am my 650cc Gladius. I'd say you're doing just fine in the MPG department.
